At The Ranges Learning Centre, we believe every child should be given the best quality instruction. Our educators are highly skilled teachers who specialise in Multisensory Structured Language instruction (MSL). The science of reading provides a framework for all our teaching, which rests on the conviction that explicit and direct instruction when learning to read and write is vital for some, helpful for many and harmful to none.

With this adage in mind, we aim to ensure that, when students enter our centre, they will be provided with instruction that caters to their specific learning needs and will afford them the opportunity to experience success.

Our instruction is designed to cater for the specific needs of students with dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia.

Instruction based on the science of reading relies on knowledge of how the brain learns to read. This instruction is the most beneficial approach to learning to read and write and therefore is suitable for your child even if they are just in need of a boost in their learning.

As MSL Specialists and highly experienced teachers, we are able to bring together a range of skills, strategies and approaches in order to cater for the specific needs of your child. We therefore provide instruction in learning to read and spell, basic writing skills and sentence composition, fluency, comprehension and multisensory maths.
